Governor Andrew Cuomo and legislative leaders have reached an official agreement on a $212 billion state budget that includes tax increases on the wealthy, a record amount of funding for school aid, and rent relief for New Yorkers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This will be New York’s largest state budget in history, but also includes more than $12.5 billion in direct aid from the federal government.

NYers will continue to leave in droves to get out of this state. NYC will become the slum and crime ridden city it once was...oh, it is that already thanks to DiBlasio and Cuomo.

It's a given that they will spend more, however, a lower tax rate increases economic activity producing an even higher revenue

About 30,000 per year are predicted to leave. No wealthy person getting taxed to death would stay when you can go somewhere else. NY is doomed.
