I wonder what the information would be for the Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown metro, which became a part of the NYC metro in 2013, but became its own again in 2018?
I’m also curious what areas of the Buffalo & Rochester metros are these younger homebuyers are moving to?
I wonder why Binghamton has such a high medium income compared to other upstate metro's?
I believe that is the income of the homebuyers, who many times may be coming from Downstate. Which is why I believe Tioga started the Southern Tier housing thread, as it has been a thing for Downstaters to move to that area(Broome and Tioga counties). They likely are bringing their $ with them.
