Has anyone actually received the Excelsior Scholarship for their child? (Middletown: school, college)

Hi All,

Can anyone share their experience with applying for and being approved for the Excelsior Scholarship for a SUNY or CUNY school?

Were there a lot of hoops to jump through? Anything to be aware of?

My son will start applying next year and I just want to be prepared. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
