"Falling temperatures doesn’t have to mean hibernation until spring. Glamping with Tentrr can bring a whole new adventure, upping the game of regular tent camping with more luxurious amenities.

Some Tentrr hosts offer “Winter Ready” camp sites, which the website says it will be equipped with a floor for the tent, a fly over the tent for extra insulation and a heater option to keep the tent toasty warm through the night.

It does advise hosts however that cold weather camping is still an added adventure, even with the extra added amenities, so make sure to pack wisely.

If the idea of big warm blankets, cozy layers, and a campfire sound ideal, here are 14 Tentrr Camp Keepers who are ready to book with you."

I first heard of Glamping a few months ago when I went to the Poconos. Is there really a market for this?

I can understand this if on like some African, Indian, or Amazonian safari. Somewhere very remote like climbing Everest, or going to see Manchu Picchu makes sense for Glamping.

But Poconos, or Catskills? Come on. You are too close to civilization. You can hike up the mountains, and be back home before sunset.

I think so. I only say that because I've seen questions asked about this on other forums. So, it appears to be a "thing".
