Anyone who defends a politician like Cuomo even slightly is part of the reason why we are sliding rapidly towards a civil war.
I don't agree with what Cida's saying here, and I very much dislike Cuomo, but I'd say the kind of strident, extreme characterizations of things as your post is putting it would be more akin to tinder for sliding rapidly towards destructive and incredibly stupid confrontation.

Oh I'm certain I exhibit traits that are contributing factors, but blindly supporting tyrannical politicians is definitely not one of them.
Cuomo is a perfect highlight of everything currently wrong with the Republic. Even more so than Trump because at least Trump was a flash in the pan.
Cuomo, an actual example of white privilege incarnate, has been a boil on NY's political scene ever since he reached adulthood. Thankfully his minor role in the Clinton administration will be his only federal position of power.
This is also a good place to remind Cida that we still have a question hanging out there from their last support Cuomo post: how come we're supposed to believe Kavanaugh's accuser from 40 years ago under very suspicious circumstances with zero evidence, but not Cuomo's multiple current accusers, with evidence, corroboration, and willingness to come forward to the media as opposed to anonymously to a corrupt politician?
