Hi all - my husband, my 2 year old daughter and newborn son are considering a move to Piermont / Palisades or Bergen County. We are Irish Catholic and are looking for a community where there is a church that is well attended. Schools are important to us but not the end all be all (both my husband and I went to very competitive public high schools and believe there are pros and cons). Budget is less of a focus for us as we believe we can afford homes in both areas. Which would you all recommend? More specifically we are considering Piermont and Palisades in NY and Haworth, Harrington Park and Glen Rock in Bergen County. Thanks in advance!
Pearl River has a lot of nice, well-kept homes especially in the Nauraushaun area. The taxes are also reasonable for the value. The school system is very good, and community is very close knit.
