Jacksonville gets a 5.2 in health care and is behind health meccas like Buffalo NY, Daytona Beach etc. Jacksonville has the Mayo Clinic, which saved my brother (who is a doctor) and his wife's lives. It is one of the top hospitals in the SE and is adding hundreds of millions of dollars in new facilities including the first carbon ion machine for advanced cancer treatment as well as a proton therapy unit and a 233 million dollar comprehensive cancer center. My wife and I have received amazing care there and was infinitely superior to anything I received in WNY. There is also an MD Anderson Cancer Center which has been the top cancer hospital in the USA for decades. How Jax gets ranked behind Buffalo NY and Dayton Beach is beyond me.
That is one of the most ridiculous rankings I have ever seen.
