I think he was just kidding. Bovina is probably the least crowded town in Delaware county. (Maybe it's crowded compared to Hardenburgh over in Ulster County, or Mud Butte SD.)

Andes is probably more crowded than Bovina, and the Margaretville/Arkville area is much more crowded than either Andes or Bovina.

Thanks, this is a great help. My budget is $300 to $500k. We're open to any region, as long as it's nice. How bad are the winters? Im not afraid of snow but I often read posts from people that are turned off by long brutal winters.

margretville, andes if you want to live in the early 1800s or join hermets of America do not go there not much there and the winters are depressing. finger lkaes are probably a better bet if you want go that far. pick resort town at least they may have activities
