This junior high in West Chester PA is named after his son who was born and raised in Baldwinsville, as well as Waterloo, where he graduated from high school. He also graduated from Cornell and was professor at Tuskegee, as well as a principal at a school within the West Chester SD: Browser Not Supported
Also, at the end of the J.R. Fugett article, there is a mention of Henry Bakeman. He is one of the first permanent, non Native settlers of what is now the Fulton area, as he was given a tract of land after his service in the Revolutionary War. Some of his descendants still live in Oswego and Onondaga Counties today. Henry Bakeman (1765 - 1835) - Find A Grave Memorial
