Here is another historical reference, this time tied to Rochester, where this late bass-baritone singer grew up and attended the closed Washington High and the Eastman School of Music, where there is a scholarship in his honor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Warfield

He is in the upper left corner of this picture in the 1937 Washington High yearbook when he was a Junior: https://www.classmates.com/siteui/ye.../73799?page=52

The church his father was the pastor of likely starting in the 1920's when the family moved from West Helena AR in that state's Delta Region: https://www.facebook.com/MVMBC351/

Perhaps a place like this would work, but check if it is pet friendly: http://luxury811.com/

It is on North Tioga Street in between Fall Creek Elementary and this church: https://www.ourlordstemplecogic.org/

Here are some pet friendly listings, but most are apartments: https://www.apartments.com/ithaca-ny...ulrvo0hIzw4vtN

I would also say that the East Side of Syracuse would be another place to look. In fact, this townhouse is just north of Syracuse University, near the Connective Corridor bus line, near multiple hospitals, can walk to Syracuse Stage, Strong Hearts Cafe(a vegetarian restaurant) is a few blocks away and you can walk to businesses on East Genesee Street and this area: https://crousemarshall.com/

There's also this condo in the Westcott neighborhood also on that side of town: https://www.realtor.com/realestatean...0_M46359-67725
https://www.google.com/maps/@43.0454...2!9m2!1b1!2i37

You can walk to this business district south of East Genesee Street: Home - Westcott Community

There are others, but those are a couple of areas that come to mind.
Thank you so much for the information ckhthankgod, I really appreciate your feedback and will check out the areas.

^No problem and I'll pass along any other information I think of or come across. I will say that if you consider Buffalo or Rochester, I'd say to look at say Allentown or Elmwood Village, among others in Buffalo or the SE Quadrant(perhaps Monroe village and South Wedge in particular) in Rochester. There are other areas that could fit, but in terms of vibe and walkability, those areas would be good fits.
