While originally from Knoxville TN, this woman came to Rochester in 1968 as a computer programmer for Kodak and later in 1972 became the first black and female news reporter from WOKR(now WHAM 13) in the city: https://www.thehistorymakers.org/bio...arbara-rodgers

There are also shows on other stations across Upstate and this is a good source for finding stations by area: https://radio-locator.com/ Some stations aren’t listed due to being online or HD-2 stations(Hot 99.1 and WEDJ in Albany, The Beat 105.5 in Rochester and WYWM in Syracuse are some examples)
