Here is an interesting 2 for 1 reference in terms of multiple locations and ways. This article is about a former Sweet Home(in Amherst) basketball star in the early 80's that is a head coach at a HS in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area of VA. That article was written by a guy that was born and raised partially in Syracuse(and in the DC area): https://pilotonline.com/sports/high-...1228d502c.html

https://pilotonline.com/users/profile/larry%20rubama/

This writer also graduated from Syracuse University and was also a former radio DJ when WOLF 1490 AM was an urban format radio station in the late 80's/early 90's.

Sweet Home is another example of a suburban SD that Black residents in the Buffalo area moved to in visible numbers earlier than other area suburbs(about late 60's to mid 70's).

Also a good example of talented people from the state that are elsewhere as well.
