I hope the John W. Jones project can come back, if it hasn't already.
As far as I know the Ernie Davis Community Center is still open - they had Juneteenth events there earlier this month. The Ernie Davis Middle School has closed; that is the building the charter school - I believe we were discussing that in another thread a while back? - wants. (FYI, the charter school and the school district STILL have not come to an agreement on a facility to house the charter school, which is supposed to open this fall...)

I've looked all over for info on the John Jones Museum, and can't find anything current about the status. :/ Even their website doesn't have a phone number on the "contact us" page, and I never got a reply from email. All I know is what I see from driving by it regularly, and it looks like the repair/renovation process has stopped.

Good to know about the Community Center, as I thought that I saw that it was permanently closed. I'm thinking that it was referring to the middle school though.

I think the Jones museum would be a great asset to the community, similar to what the Harriet Tubman Home is to Auburn. With the latter, it will become a part of the National Park System in the future.
