When I was born, my parents lived in Washingtonville, NY on Lark St. I had read on a website that is no longer in existance, that Lark St. is somewhat unique in that one architect and builder developed that road.
Does anyone have any information or pictures of homes on Lark St.?
My parents lived in a carriage house apartment. I can remember the beautiful homes with lots of detailing.
Any information would be appreciated!

Default washingtonville

My Grandfather built the home at 7 Lark Street. He and his family lived in it.
I have pictures of that house.

He also built other houses in W'ville and a school in Orange County.

There are other houses in the area which were occupied by my ancestors further back.

PS The little house to the right and back was once the 2 car garage I played in.

And the pond I fell in was in front of the garage.

Default Lark Street History

As a new resident to Lark Street, I'm also interested in information on the history. We have been getting little bits and pieces of info on who lived in our house before us, but not too much.
