We're looking to sell our house later this year. We will be relocating to another state over 800 miles away. Our house will be empty when we list it. Yes, we've discussed selling it before we leave, but we have 3 dogs so it's not a real option.
Because the house will be empty, we're thinking about having it staged. How does one go about this? Any idea on cost? We're near Albany if that makes a difference...well compared to manhattan it does make a difference, doesn't it?
We haven't spoken with a realtor about any of this yet. We're waiting until we're much closer to moving. We contacted one last year with a question and they call us every week leaving snotty messages. It's really annoying so we don't want to contact one with questions for obvious reasons! No more stalkers please!
Anyone have staging experience?
