My fiance and I are thinking about moving to Warwick or Chester, NY. My fiance has to drive to Bergen County, NJ (his job requires he use his own personal vehicle). He's pretty good getting around on back roads. Can anyone tell me what the commute is like from Warwick or Chester, Ny to Bergen County, NJ?
In addition, I was wondering what it is like for ABA therapist in upstate New York? I am in the process of getting my masters degree and am most likely going to get my BCBA certification as well. Are jobs plentiful? The position I have now usually requires that you work three hours at a session (four is the max) a couple of times a week. How does it work out there? I'm doing in home therapy for an agency and I would like to stick with that. Is there a lot of agencies? Are there enough jobs in Warwick and the surrounding area that you don't have to commute?
I appreciate anybody who gets back to me with this information.
My daughter is going to be taking up ABA therapy. Can you tell me how the job market is in general for this type of work? She has a Masters in School Counseling as well.
Thanks
