I don't know exactly what type of views you're looking for, but I hope the ones I posted were of that type...

Most of the pics you find of Buffalo are either from Main st, city Hall or the waterfront. Looking for more of anything else lol.

Anything, huh? No specifics - coming in on the highways, distant views.... I posted some of my photos that do happen to be from outside that relm now... and to let you know I only post photos I have taken, due to copyright reasons. You may have posted giving credit to city-data, which is probably okay cause they are still up and they are from this site, etc. But, it can be tricky posting photos you haven't taken yourself. I'm kinda experienced with that....heh heh...

I don't remember the names of all of the buildings....Erie county building, central terminal (more than the front), building with the gold cap, Details of the buildings themselves, its the detail that made art-deco great.

If you can get a clear shot of downtown, something from a night crowd at Chippewa or Elmwood ave.

Some of the photos of Rochester I took myself. I think all of the photos I posted from the Rochester picture thread I took personally.

Thanks. I think some details have an affect. I mean NYC has the Empire state building, Chicago has the Sears tower, San Francisco has the Golden Gate bridge, Seattle has the Space Needle, etc. Otherwise why not build everything square with right angles?

This is true. Good point, but the Gold Dome isn't tall enough - unforunately, to be noticed in the Buffalo skyline, seeing as buildings around it dwarf the beautiful structure.

Yeah, it's hard to imagine now that Buffalo was so prominent. I had the opportunity to tour downtown Detroit this summer... man was that an eye opener. At one point it was the #3 city in the country, now I think Rochester has a bigger skyline. It was a rather depressing and humbling trip.
