This is unfair, you showed the WORST skyline view of Buffalo. Of course, Rochester would win!

Grew up in Rochester, have no desire ever to live there again... definitely not as nice as it was growing up as a kid in the 80's

Buffalo is no better, but I voted for it only because it is closer to Canada

I like Buffalo's more but Rochester's is quite impressive for its population.

I think they have a no skyline posts rule over there. So instead of deleting it they moved it here. Rochester had better skyline pictures, with the waterfalls and bridge views its distracting. Unto itself Rochester has a pretty good skyline. But from just being around both I had to vote Buffalo from personal experience.

The downtown areas of both Rochester and Buffalo employ about 50,000 people each. Residentialy, there are about 2,000 more people living in Rochester's downtown. The assesed value of each city is virtually the same at about $50 billion despite the city once had housing and retail to support 500,000 people. Rochester only got to 332,000.

Oh, a question about downtown-- what is to become of Buffalo's tallest building? The second largest tenant is moving out and the largest tenant is downsizing in Buffalo and moving about 1000 employees to another building?

What are you, 15? Are you so insecure that you need to bump every Rochester vs. Buffalo thread, while adding absolutely nothing of substance to the thread?

Buffalo & Rochester actually need tall buildings. Instead of like these 26 floor 345 foot buildings that are called "Towers." I'm mad when I look at other cities skylines because their all like 60 floors & 800 feet. Ik we've kept our city old school traditional, but come on... I mean not even a 600 foot building. The only one that kind of comes close is "One HSBC Center." 529 feet & 40 stories. I live in the suburbs of Buffalo. Also, Buffalo is the 2nd biggest city in New York State. Which is an honor. But our total area is 40.5 square miles. WE NEED TO EXPAND. WHO CARES, JUST COUNT THE SUBURBS BUFFALO. THEN WE'D HAVE 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE. OTHER CITIES ARE LIKE 100 SQUARE MILES. & WE GET MADE FUN OF FOR IT. SO PLEASE COME ON...
