We had a wonderful journey to upstate NY not all that far from Syracuse to a small town called Greene, settled in 1792. It was quaint and very unique. The town is settled by the Chanango River, and is full of some cute and charming shops.
Here is some lake pictures from a cabin we stayed at nearby.....and the little town of Greene.

The town of Greene Sign...

We had a wonderful time........The peaceful lake was so quiet, and a delight. The town was interesting and quaint. There is so much to love and enjoy in upstate New York.

Its a lake outside of Greene....
Nothing is for sale there. The homes stay in families for years and years.....
It is only a summer lake. In winters you couldn't get in and out......and your water line would be frozen for sure.
