looking for info on school districts in dutchess county (Arlington: moving, special education)

We are moving in june (thank heavens!) away from slc utah- to ny- my husband will have his job in Hopewell junction ny, I am looking for any info on schools- I have four kids one about to enbark on jr-sr high the others are still in elm. one of my kids has autism and the other has high end asberger's syndrome- so I need to find good schools with small class rooms and great teachers and programs that assit with special needs. anyone out there that can clue me in I would appreciate it!

I have to say Arlington schools..but you mentioned small..and the high school is awesomely big and it offers everything...But the test scores will speak for themselves...I have only one in elementry and others are to young for school.

PM me if you want a moms POV on the schools here. If you in hopewell, chances are you will fall in arlington schools or wappingers.

Arlington's special education department has a great reputation; they care very much about the students and will do whatever possible to give every child a fair education. I hope everything worked out for you!
