Some more: Census Block Group 101400-2, which is in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn has a median household income of $108,164(10-14 census info) and is/was 82.9% Black(2010 info).


Census Block Group 105804-1, which is also in the eastern edge of Canarsie in Brooklyn, has a median household income of $103,373(10-14 info) and is/was 91.9% Black(2010 info).


Canarsie seems to have quite a few census block groups that range from around the metro median household income in the mid 60's($66,902 according to 2010-2014 census information) to the high 90,000's.


Census Block Group 020100-1 is an area in southern Clinton Hill in Brooklyn that has a median household income of $103,056(10-14 info) and is 44.9% Black(2010 info and largest percentage pluralistically). There is another census block group nearby with a median household income of $96,417 and that is 71.5% Black.


Also, Flatlands and into parts of southern/SW East Flatbush has its share of census block groups/tracts in the 70-high 80,000's range as well.

Upper Middle - Class neighborhood that's predominately black? To be honest, I don't think such a neighborhood exist in NY.

I'll look a little bit more, but you do have some other census block groups in that N/NE part of the Bronx that are predominately Black and have median household incomes that may be viewed as at least lower middle class in the 70's-high 80,000's.

There may be others that could work, as the information may have been close, but these appear to be the best bets.
