Hello. I need help.
I just moved to Rockland County and got traffic ticket at Ramapo. Although I had buckled my baby on carseat, the policeman gave me a ticket because I buckled LOOSELY. My baby was asleep and I guess somehow she has loosened it. I mean I did buckled the seat tightly. He told me that I should have watched my baby all the time. What am I supposed to do? Watch the baby while driving the car all the times? Wouldn't that cause a bigger accident? I was really upset however, this guy gave me a ticket anyway.
The thing is that this policeman told me that send mail as "not guilty", negotiate, and pay the due then I won't be any problem.
I sent mail as he told me and guess what. No negotiation and the point for this ticket is 3 points!!! I had to arrange court schedule due to this because I think it is unfair. I cannot have 3 point for what I have not done. I have a court schedule coming after next week and need somebody who can explain the situation and get rid of the point.
Since I just moved from another states, I do not know anybody.
Is there anybody who can recommend a lawyer/attorney in ramapo, rockland county area handling these kinds of ticket?
