Is Beacon a DOG friendly place to live? My dogs are my exstended family and we want to live in peace with the enviroment.Has anyone had a bad experience with the local animal control? Are there any places where you can let your dog run?

Beacon is a friendly dog city. We live near Beacon and have two big dogs and always find places to let them run around in parks. They just opened up a real nice dog park in Fishkill, Ny -about 15 minutes from Beacon.

Default Cost of living in Beacon, NY
How high/low are property taxes in Beacon? We live across the Hudson River and are being priced out of the area due to ever increasing school taxes.
