a) That's not a spied car, those are professional shots released (or at the very least leaked) by Nissan.
b) The pictures were taken at one of their design studios, in other words, this is a "design study" indicating the direction Nissan intends to take their cars. Expect any production model to be a lot more moderate, for a number of reasons.
Other than the higher roofline that Impreza, to me anyway, looks very close to its concept version.
After their competitors saw what Hyundai and Kia have been selling in their dealerships the past three years - and with great success at least here in the Bayou City - I bet Nissan/Toyota/etc will have to "up the ante" so they won't be left in the (style) dust. So I would not be surprised at all if the Altima isn't that far removed from the concept version.
Why do they bother with the camouflage? You can tell what the general shape is even with the "camouflage."
