The Z was never about huge performance and cutting edge weight loss. It's not meant to be a competitor for a Vette. The Supra blew itself off the map when its price skyrocketed. Neither car was intended to be a world class sports car.

Its a sports car. Trunk space is not a factor. As for the size, I have a 92 Z Car and fit well at 6'3". Have not driven a 350Z or 370Z though...
