LOL that's funny and true at the same time. I have a 2012 Maxima. I don't think I have ever had to press the gas pedal all the way down. 290 HP is plenty with this car. I do like the looks of the new model.

Not if it stays FWD. Maximas have been notorious for torque steer ever since the 90s.

Neighbor has one for the weekend. He works at Nissan. I'm disappointed. It is truly overstyled. Way too much going on. In not into at all. So sorry I traded out of my 2002 SE 6 speed manual. What I would give if I had not made that decision. Too bad I didn't know where they were taking the maxima. Ugh. Wish they had given this makeover model another name. It is no Maxima.

I hate it. I have had altimas and maximas and infinitis and a few Z cars..... I am a huge Nissan fan. But this car is just... Just.... Wtf..... I would buy a sonata v6 or turbo before this abomination........ When the cars start looking like Japanese ninja tech motorcycles from some futuristic movie, its time to shop elsewhere .

Now that I've seen a couple in person, I will say they are better proportioned than pictures suggest. But they still look like a slightly awkward ripoff of the Mazda6, and that new corporate snout is no less ungainly in person as it is in pictures.

This! If the C-pillar flowed smoothly into the trunk and fender area that would help. The chipmunk tooth grill is another matter. Maybe body color grill or black might help.

I thought the best Maxima was the 2002 Model. 2002 Nissan Maxima – SpiderCars

A truly ugly car, I am trying to love the car the best I can and I like the looks of the Nissan Sentra over the Maxima. they over did it with the styling. Nissan makes very ugly cars, but atleast the Infinitis look decent.
