Is it me or does Nissan seem to really be getting it's act together after somewhat of a slump from 2000 to 2006? It seems like their 2007 and forward designs/redesigns are really on the mark.

Yeah and I think the quality has improved. Quality seemed to have declined in the very late 90s/early 2000s, but I think has came back some.

I don't know, I really like their designs from the early part of this decade. The new Murano's front end is awkward, unlike the previous one. Also, the new Infiniti M50 feels like a Hyundai knock-off, while the older M45 had clean lines. I don't like the new Maxima as much as the previous either.

The QX56 is still a dump truck on wheels.

Really, the only car they recently refreshed that feels like it was an improvement is the new Z. Everything else seems like they are regressing, IMHO.

Well, that does tend to happen to companies that recover from being near bankruptcy.

Carlos Ghosn, FTW, I guess...

I'm pretty big on Nissan and Carlos Ghosn has been doing things right over the past decade or so. I recently sold my 1995 Nissan 300ZX and still have a 2006 Maxima, 1992 Sentra (beater) and a 2004 Infiniti G35 (Nissan 350GT everywhere else in the world) sitting in my families driveway.
