Were they in your town all weekend (Friday night to Sunday night) or shorter?

How much of the weekend did you spend with them?

What if you had said "Sorry Mom, Grandma & Aunt, but I have plans to spend all day Sunday with my girlfriend" what would they have done?

Now that it is over, do you think that they will come again if you tell them that it is a "bad weekend for them to visit"?

(I'm just trying to get an idea of how much time that you spent with them and if they are planning to continue just driving to see you even if you say "No".)

I honestly don't have any friends or family that wouldn't give me a "heads-up" that they would like to come for a visit. I like to have enough notice so I can get the house cleaned up and maybe even get a few make-ahead meals to share. Just basic stuff.

I have 3 friends coming at the end of May. I told them about the sleeping options I have for them in my house, and none of them flinched. So excited to see them after 25 years! These ladies were my best friends back in high school, but life separated us. It will be fun!

My extended family is coming in August but they need to stay at a hotel because we simply can't accommodate them all (plus their dogs) so forget about it. It's hard enough just to feed them all.
