Creative birthday wishes? (messages)

I'm going on a trip with a friend in just one week and it'll be 4 of us plus the birthday girl who's turning 30.

I'm trying to think of a creative way to bring people together to say Happy Birthday to her even though she'll be out of town on an island. She has friends all over the country and a few outside of the US.

I tried to see if there was some kind of app where people could 'film' a short happy birthday message on their phone and the app would perhaps bring them all together so she could view them on some sort of 'wall' like Facebook has (she's actually anti-Facebook but very pro-Instagram).

Or maybe some sort of website where people could post messages and videos for her.

It would be cool to be able to show it to her on her actual birthday. I'm up for pretty much any creative idea at this point...thoughts?

Good idea.

However, I don't think I'd be able to coordinate that...she just knows wayyyy too many people. That's why I was thinking of something we could 'set up' now to share with her on that day...

One week isn't a long time. Maybe just get people to write a bday message, take a photo and then make a book for her (place that prints quickly) or plaster her Instagram.
