Don't rescue other people if they make the same mistake twice.

Don't rescue other people PERIOD. Support them, yes, but it's up to them to rescue themselves. Keep yourself first.

I sometimes wish I could ask the 20 something me for advice on the 50 year old me.

You know it all when you're 20 something.

The older you get the more you realize you actually knew NOTHING. Zero. Yet still managed quite well anyway.

Im in awe of the 20 year old I was. She was so BRAVE and a really cool customer!

Sorry, but I feel like some of your advice is just feel-good banalities.

I'd say:
1. Watch less television.
2. Spend less time online; don't bother with videos and pictures, especially if posted by strangers. Avoid Facebook, if you can.
3. Be aware of what's going on in the wider world, and decide what causes you consider important.
4. Don't worry about things like people being "negative" or "judgmental."

Don't get into a friends-with-benefits relationship. It won't end well for you or the other person.

"Get your head together before you get married - and don't marry that guy you met in college who seemed so passionately in love with you. What he really is, is controlling and paranoid and emotionally (and eventually physically) abusive. Love isn't about the drama of breaking up and then making up."

Oh, and:

"Figure out what personal boundaries are and then put them into place. And remember - you're only responsible for your own actions, and you can't change anyone else."

And finally:

"God's plan is better than your plan."
