It's pretty reasonable to hate the backward, "bereft", and violent parts of any culture.

But there are wonderful things about Nigerian culture that most people can appreciate, such as the gorgeous clothes ladies traditionally wear.

Discard the bad, keep the good in your personal life.

what we think about, we become

so maybe instead of focusing on what you hate about other people or other cultures, focus on what you really like, what you find pleasing, delightful, joyful, happy in life

becuase what you think about, you are literally inviting into your life. so the more you think about and talk about what you don't like, the more it appears in your daily life. the more you focus on and think about and talk about what is good and pleasing, then the more you have that in your life.

best wishes.

OK. but then it's fine for many people not to care. to assign it as a mental illness or a sickness is not consistent with how millions of Americans live.

look. i don't know you, stop trying to appeal to who i am.

i like how many others (whom you consider personal friends..very telling..) can post similar material, but i cannot. kind of baseless, but for a supposed "normal" person you don't interaction well. you may cite this as being rude, however you all have been to me.

Holdzstand, No-one above has been rude to you. I think it must be a cultural difference, and you are misunderstanding the three of them. They were trying to help you with your original question.
I also agree with Pitt Chick's question. You have worded it in a way that is not understandable in English sentences. She was not being mean, she was trying to get a better grip on what your thought was.

No-one was attacking you. They are not 'trying to appeal' to who you are, they were responding to your original post in the best helpful manner that they could.
You are taking it the wrong way.

Tzaphkiel was trying to get you to think positive. Good Mocking Bird was doing the same, speaking of the beautiful clothing your original people have.

Americans are pretty mostly happy people and want to help. You asked for help, and that is what we are trying to do with your question, as best we can.
