In the wee hours of this morning, I was engaged in a very moving conversation with an acquaintance. We were reviewing 2015 and how the year has treated us both. I've had my peaks, I've had my valleys (haven't we all?) But the point is, some words of wisdom that I've learned. It's said that for each door that closes, another door shall open - yet there may be times when you have to kick that door open! This is not to be mean or heartless in any way, shape, or form...rather, show your tenacity and assertiveness and go after what you want, 'cause it ain't gonna be handed to you on a platter! Plan your work, and work your plan.

Merry Christmas!

I agree. Many times I've had to be proactive to get what I want. Other times I realized I should have left that da*n door alone That is one of the things I love most about life, the constant lessons I'm being taught (when I open up that is). With every door that opens, I kick down or swings back into my face, I grow and get wiser as to which doors are for me and which ain't (ain't? really)
You are so correct! Not everyone feels this way and that's why I'm on here right now instead of upstairs with a houseful of people, so thanks for the thread and happy new year, too.
