Holding unpopular views, dressing a bit out of sync with the rest of society, making my own rules
Do you tell people your views and take a poll? That is about the only way you could know they were unpopular. How do you dress and what rules do you make?

No.
How do I dress?
Well I mismatch clothes, wear ripped jeans on occasion, like I stated in another thread: I like to pop my collar on dress shirts
What rules do I make?
Well I only have one: Do what I want , when I want, as long as its legal
Popping your collar, how radical! Ripped jeans are making a comeback. You might have to stop wearing them because you wouldn't want to be in. Glad you are obeying the laws of the land. I try to too, because it cuts down on court costs and lawyer fees.
When I was in college in the early 2000s every "bro" popped his collar and wore ripped jeans. Maybe it fell out of fashion since then idk.
Um. I own an Akita while everyone and their mother owns a French Bulldog. I also don't plan on letting my home owners insurance know cause I roll like a gangsta.
OP I take back my earlier suggestion, you are WAY TOO out there for Portland. Or Key West or the Village.
Mismatched clothes and popped collared dress shirts
Holy cow!
I hate to tell you this OP but you may just be too far beyond the pale to ever be understood.
That's OK though, you can be a groundbreaker and others may start to emulate your outrageousness if they ever get up the nerve.
I may be what you classify as a rebel. Ever since I was little, I was taught to follow the social norms. I dealt with this for how many years, until one day I decided I didn't want to continue conforming to society's social norms. That's were I became a rebel. I feel free, less pressure to fit in and\follow the crowd. Social norms were a pain in the butt. I became a rebel because I wanted to be different. And I succeeded in becoming a rebel. I live by my rules and not society's .
So do you conform to social norms or are you a rebel like me?
So you are a socially accepted normal rebel just like all of the other socially accepted normal rebels?
OP, we are all kind of being smartarses, but it is late. You do you, and make yourself happy. It is good that you don't try to conform to what others want or to what you believe society wants you to do. Night.

So you really are not a rebel at all, and we all had such high hopes for you......
