They took out of the coma, he's only sedated right now. He definitely can breathe on his own and is showing signs of improvement. Fortunately, despite the huge marks on his neck, there was no damage to the circulatory system there but that still doesn't guarantee there was no brain damage of course.

You and your brother will now have a special bond beyond belief, imho. He has seen the other side, and you brought him back. I personally think he's going to be fine, and will always look at you differently now. In a good way.
Continue to help him along Prince. This must be traumatizing, and I mean for you as well. Take it day by day, and let him slowly open up to you. I think he will.

I am so sorry you and your Mom are going through this, but glad you found your brother and glad he is improving! I will keep my fingers crossed that he continues to improve. My brother did commit suicide by hanging, almost 4 years ago, and it left our family with so many questions. He was acting like his normal self, right up until the end. I hope your brother is able to get the help he needs, once he is physically better.
Very sad, and a horrible thing to happen. Can't imagine what you are going through, and to have found him.
