Strange coworker........ (talks, person, workplace, money)

Ok so I work at a retail conglomerate and this coworker I work with keeps talking about disturbing things.
He says things like " you know what I want to do to Gandolf? (From Lord of the rings) I want to stick syringes in his vains and pump him full of sulfuric acid and bleach. Then I want to see him perform sexual acts on frodo."..........
He uses words like molest and other vulgar terms. And he constantly talks about killing this fictional character and other weird sexual acts.

And....He always says " ok I got one for ya....If u were paid $100000000 would u where this person's dirty diaper? Sometimes he says different gross things for money but yeah....

Then this guy told me he takes meds for schizophrenia.........

What should I do???

Report the incidents to HR, and find a new job.

Reality is, if he truly has a medical condition, your employer will have 16 hoops to jump through to solve the situation, leaving you to have to hear this stuff in the meantime. It's retail, retail jobs are a dime a dozen.

Do you need others to tell you this is a clear case of harassment? Creating a hostile work environment. Tell management.

This person has some of the earmarks of a Serial Killer. They love to fantasize about torture, acid baths and death. A lot of sexual depravity going on in his mind as well. He not only needs to be escorted out by Security, he needs to have documentation that he is fantasizing about torture and some of the other disturbing things he's said.. You will likely see this guy on the 6 clock news, with dead bodies in barrels in his backyard. Don't get too close and tell your HR department. I hope you guys have Active Shooter Training at work.
