I'm always amazed at the people that just have loads and loads of drama in their lives, you know the type. The ones that just always have some crazy insane drama going on.

It could be a friendship or a romantic relationship or whatever. We had a friend a few years ago and she was always just railing and ranting about things in her life. It was always everyone else and she was always the one that was innocent and had zero bearing on these situations. Her husband was sometimes the middle of her drama but not always.

I mean don't these people ever ever get any sense of self-reflection or ever realize that they are indeed the drama queens????

In my life I've dealt with people over the years and drama was high and foremost and I just wonder what the deal was with them. Sometimes it's legit, but most of the time it's not. It's self induced pain, I don't know why so many people insist on self-induced pain, but it is what it is.

I have no room for that crap in my life. We used to hang out with a friend and her husband and she started this crap and she's no no longer our friend.

LOL, Homey don't play that... just to bust out an old reference.

It's true that some people seem to have little (or no) capacity for self-reflection. Those folks generally don't realize that they themselves are the cause of most drama in their life. Because that would take self-reflection! I think those types need the attention, validation, and "excitement," for lack of a better word, of constant conflict.

It's immature and kind of pathetic to me, but you can't make someone else take responsibility for their part in fights/arguments- especially if they get some kind of rush from being involved in that stuff. They have to admit their own role in the problem, and want to change, or they just won't. I don't have anyone like that in my life, because I won't put up with that kind of crap for one second any more, lol.

Default If society pays for someone's mistakes then is it equal to socialism?

Let's talk about people those have bought housing using a mortgage loan. There was a financial crisis in the USA in 2007-2009 year and these people had problems with mortgage rates payment. Many of them lost their housing. A situation like this was shown in the movie "The Company Men" (2007) .

But I don't know about manifestations in the USA with slogans "Help us! Help to pay our mortgage rates!" Americans understand they risk themselves when buy housing on time and pay later.

Meanwhile in Eastern Europe (countries of former socialism) there were such manifestations. Their participants wanted state help.

A man has a high income and he hurries to get a credit to have a new and comfortable housing . There is no contradiction for him when he has a higher income than in average. But when he is low on money to pay his large credit ... that's untrue and society (every human) must help him to keep his flat or townhouse!

I had an ex-friend who always had something dramatic going on in her life, most, if not all of it caused by her. She admitted she was addicted to drama. She had to have it in her life.
I have another ex-friend who made very bad choices which resulted in drama. She reacted on her anger and just made really bad decisions from there.
In either situation, I think they both needed that drama in their life. I think they felt something was missing if they didn't have it.
Seems like I attract these types. However, I'm grateful for the experiences because now I can easily spot them and I know to keep them out of my life.

Some people are immature.
Some have personality disorders.
Some have addictions which prevent them from being fully conscious of their thoughts/actions.
Some don't care about other people.
Some are shallow and selfish.
Some are mean.
Some are evil.

You see these people all. the. time. on here.

They have these running feuds with friends, their bosses, their colleagues, their significant others, their family members, creditors, landlords, auto repair shops, the IRS, and everybody else under the sun. Their life is a constant litany of problems and conflicts large and small.

And guess what? It is never their fault. Never, ever, ever. Why, this stuff simply happens to them.

Well, everybody has a rough patch in life. But the large majority of people get through it, learn from it, and don't make the same mistakes over and over again.

My best friend in my teens and twenties was that way. Greatest guy in the world. But he just did mind-bogglingly stupid things. He wrecked so many cars that he required high-risk insurance and lost two jobs because of his driving record. But did he ever slow down and watch where he was going? No. I finally refused to ride with him.

He got engaged in a whirlwind romance with a woman who, over the next several months, proved to be a compulsive liar. He finally broke it off with her. What happens several months later? He gets back with her, only dumping her for good after he found out she was forging his signature on his checks. He was fired from his job at the bank as a result.

And the list goes on. He and I remain friends. But I really got tired of bailing him out all the time. The last straw was when I drove all night on a Sunday night to get him out of jail 200 miles away because of public drunkenness. He had a huge meeting on Monday morning that he absolutely couldn't miss. We got home at 4 am.

But you ask these people and it always boils down to two culprits: The other person and luck.

Luck is the stupidest excuse of all, employed by stupid people who cannot and will not manage their lives. Hey, bad luck is when a twister hits your house. Bad luck is when you get rear ended by someone with no insurance. Bad luck is when you have a random mishap happen. Bad luck is when you get some terrible disease.

But it isn't bad luck when you keep inviting creeps into your life, both romantically and otherwise. It means you're a terrible judge of character. It isn't bad luck when your car keeps breaking down. You should have checked it out on Consumer Reports before buying it and kept up with the maintenance. It isn't bad luck (Or its lame counterpart, Office Politics) when you lose job after job. It means that you are continuously found by multiple people to not do a good enough job to be kept on. It isn't bad luck that you are always short of money. It means that you overspend and never keep any back for a rainy day.

In other words, be a grown up and manage your life. Get better at spotting trouble before it turns into a Category 5 sh*tstorm. The rest of us manage to do so.

Adrenaline addiction is what I think. My friend is always in the middle of crisis. I just got so tired of it. She needs to be in constanr crisis, with her family, her friends, her mates, her work, waiters, salespeople, you name it, EVERYONE. And it's never her fault, never.
