IMO the OP's issue has nothing to do with people stuck in an antiquated way of thinking. This is about classmates who can see the OP has her act together, and they want to bring her down, because of that. These are petty, loser-type people. It's too bad she's stuck in a program with these types, but she should maintain her dignity.

I am 36, getting married this summer, and we are remaining childless by choice and we have no qualms about it.


My fiancé and I work, travel and do whatever we want when we want and we love it. Have children and bye bye travel, no thanks.
