What does that even mean? To some, it would be perfectly "politically" correct to do so.

First off, I would have gone to the next aisle over and listened, because I'm nosy that way. ;D

If you heard enough of the conversation to hear personal and racial insults, you must have some idea what the issue was.

I can see something going wrong in a big box supply store, for a contractor, that would make him red in the face and yell not very nice things . . .

No, I personally wouldn't hire him. What people think in their own heads or say in the privacy of their home, I will never know. Once it becomes public like that, I get to decide what to do with that information.

Absolutely not, even if he was the cheapest bid. I try my best not to interact with jerks, I sure don't want to provide their livelihood.

No. I would not want to be associated with someone who would blow up like that and spout off whatever ugly happened to be in his soul. In my home or on my property, I would not want someone that unstable around and would worry about things like liability. In my business, I would worry about being associated with that person if anyone knew he was working for me. Plus, I try not to associate with douchebags.

No! I wouldn't knowingly hire anyone with anger management issues. Too volatile! There are plenty of good people who have the skills and need the work.

Yes, that's the other thing - this guy's work was merely "ok"

Why put up with drawbacks like that if he was just "meh"?

There are risks when you associate with people like that, and no matter what the bottom line is, eventually something will happen to make the association not worth it.

If he does it in public, it is always possible he will do it to you. Not someone I want anywhere around me no matter how good his prices might be.

As the previous poster said, he is unpredictable and I would add not to be trusted.

Fazed. Please don't perpetuate this Internet-ism.

Would you hire someone like this? Would their public racist rant bother you?
Oh, here's where we're supposed to do the virtue signaling.

Would I hire someone like this? Having read a lot of your postings, I would find out for myself before making that decision.
