I get that it makes you uncomfortable, but it is her home. Also, you're an adult now and have to accept that your mom is a regular person who has feelings and needs and wants. Just hang out in your room as much as you can if you don't wish to see it.
Bet you dollars to doughnuts the OP does not come back.
Her house. her life, her rules. You don't like it then change it and leave. Simple. If you can't afford to then realize your mother is doing "you" a big favor that she doesn't have to. Zip it or move on.
Now due to financial difficulty I did move back in after she was in this "relationship" but still, shouldn't she see how I view it as her daughter and tone it way down? The guy she is with is nice and everything but it's not fun seeing this.
No...she shouldn't "see how I view it as a daughter"....YOU should see how SHE views it as your mother.
I agree completely with your mother. She's doing you a big favor and you're finding something to complain about.
If it's "not fun seeing this"....go to your room little girl!!!!!
When I was 18, I started sleeping with a woman who was then 35. She had a daughter sixteen days younger than me and one two years younger than me. We were together for nearly three years.

Trying to better yourself by going back to school as an adult can be tough. Props to anyone who chooses that path, we shouldn't be dissing someone for it.
