It appears your friend was anxious to be offended. I have a bi-racial homosexual couple next door and they seem to have a problem with everything.
Appears you didn’t even read the OP, because the friend is not the one who said she was being profiled it was OP. OP suggested she film it, etc but friend said no let’s just leave. Where are you getting that the friend was so offended? Just pointing it out because there appears to be a bias here just pointing it out because there appears to be a bias here.

Well again, I have witnessed profiling on more than one occasion with my own eyes when out with my friend, so I know it happens.
And the police is profiling and ..... life goes on even with or without a purse. SO stopped at a local bank to move our accounts and was told by a lobby lizard to go on line. Dirty denim bibs, beard and my old truck may not have been the perfect calling card for a white boy.
I did, it’s some others here who apparently did not. Friend never said she was offended, the friend never said I’m being profiled. It may have been, again it’s a very regular occurrence whether people want to believe it or not. But in any case it was OP who said that she thought she was being profiled not the friend. Per post #1.
It’s easy to laugh when it hasn’t been a repeated experience through your life time, but for Black people it very often is. I’m more famous example is with Oprah Winfrey years ago where they would not buzz her into a store (they didn’t know who she was, only saw a black face).
Yes, you are absolutely right. Different experiences bring on different reactions to the same situation. I didn't mean to sound insensitive and if racial discrimination did occur here it would definitely be wrong.
Certain demographics got their reputation the old-fashioned way - they earned it!

Wow.... offensive much? Let’s make sweeping generalizations.
