High School was over 30 years ago for me, and far from one of the happiest times in my life.

Might on rare occasions run into an acquaintance from high school and say Hi and possible a sentence or two more but that is about it.

One friend of sorts from university I occasionally try to meet up with once in a while but that is about it.

Great thread.

I'm FB friends with a big handful of high school friends/acquaintances, but aside from occasionally liking a post, we have no interaction.

I am, however, still very close to one of my best high school friends. We graduated 25 years ago and we chat daily or nearly so. She lives a couple thousand miles away, so we only see each other every few years... but she is my closest friend and we know most of the dirty details of each others' lives.

Do not stay in touch with any of my high school friends. No longer live in the area, but do accumulate real estate there and go back fairly often.

The friend I keep in touch with recently in a email said "I enjoy talking to you... Most likely you are my longest friendship from school" and that made me happy.....

I have known him since 4th grade and most people dont bother replying now and that is quite upsetting........

Only on FB. But I've lived all over the world since graduating from high school, and make new friends as I go along. I still try to keep in touch with old friends, but with high school buddies, that's easier said than done, especially as we grew apart during our college years.

I graduated high school in 2003. Yes I am still friendly with some people. I would say more just some people I casually talk with but nothing close.
High school was not a good time for me.

1977 HS graduate - I see/talk with three or four friends regularly and keep in close touch with about a dozen. We have an active Facebook page where we post news, notes, old photos, and plans for occasional gatherings - usually one in the summer and another around Christmas. I try to round up a group whenever I'm in town; sometimes it's just me and a couple others, but other times there are so many of us that we take over whatever establishment we meet in.

My college roommate texts me at least 2 or 3 times a week, LOL. I'm pretty tight with about a dozen or so college friends as well. One group of 5 other women I lived with gathers every couple of years, and I try to see other college friends whenever I can.

I am in touch with numerous friends from high school which was over 30 years ago. Since my business began to go well in recent years, I began to include several old friends. What I really like about having them with me, is 100% trust. I have zero concern I will get stabbed in the back, like others I didn't know as well have done . I'm glad we kept the friendships alive all these years, since now in recent years it has become a win/win from a business standpoint as well.

No. High school was too big and those friends drifted away. No interest in reunions.

Moved too much after that plus my SO's were socially isolating (didn't realize it at the time).

Just can't muster up interest in FB, though I know I'm in the minority there.
