I agree. I'm in the DC area now. We do not generally get a lot of snow here, and many people simply do not know how to drive in the snow/ice (hell, most can't drive even in good weather here!), a point which is exacerbated given all of the transplants here in this area, many of whom come from warmer parts. We've had several delayed openings and full closures already this winter (including last Thursday and Friday, which essentially turned things into a four day weekend) at work, though sadly the forecast is showing warmer weather from here on out

Of course, not everyone can be the boss/manager, no matter how hard they push and work. It's just not possible from a numbers perspective. Thus, you'll always have people in positions where they complain over issues like these.
