Your friend was going 1 and a half times the speed limit and you say he got "nailed"? That implies some sort of indignity...your friend got CAUGHT, as he should have. Why didn't you say something about how much risk he was putting you into?
I hope he serves some time and drops the soap in the shower when Big Demetrius is around.
Your friend should be banned from driving for life, surgically if necessary, and I would say your prospects for a decent future are not that good either.
Both of you should be taken to the Hall Of Justice for judgment and summary combustion. It would have happened anyway , driving like a damn nut. I take it you were going down 49? This must be a bogus post , at least I hope it is.
Hello, I am trying to see if anyone knows a good attorney outside of asheville? I was in the car with a buddy of mine, we were driving to florida and he got nailed for 105 in a 70 zone. The cop said he could have arrested him on the spot and had the car impounded. Is that true? He got 6 tickets, 2 are criminal citations for "Speeding 105/70" "Reckless Operation" and one is for "careless driving", among a bunch of others for no seat belt, having a tail lamp out and something else. None of the big ones have price tags on them. The court house said the fines could end up being over $1,000 if he pleas guilty. We are thinking of just bailing the state and never going back unless someone knows a good attorney that doesnt cost more than 500 bucks.
By the way, this was at 3:30 am and nobody was on the road.
Cmon folks, cut the OP some slack. This post is full of WIN!
I hit a deer at 45 mph and it did $1,100 in damage. I cant imagine hitting a deer at 105.
