Free or Cheap Dental Work - Dunn,NC (Chapel Hill, New Bern: insurance, chapel)

I am unemployed with no insurance (going to try for Medicad/Public Assistance tomorrow). I have some molars coming in side ways that are starting to give me more and more issues daily. Also I have a lot of side cavities and some are looking pretty bad. Any one know where I can get some free or cheap dental work around the Dunn,NC area. I am a software developer by trade so once I get a job I will have money.

Also a doctor would be nice as well.

The county health department where you live may have a dental clinic associated with it. Also, the health dept has docs, too. Just look in the phone book in the white pages under the name of the county in which you live, and in the list of departments below there, it'll have one for the health department. Give them a call.

Also, try contacting the dental school at UNC Chapel Hill. They offer many services at greatly reduced charges.

Check with the churches. I know a church in New Bern and one in Washington offer a dental clinic of some sort from time to time. Maybe the same thing occurs in your area. Good Luck.
