I am a single female in her early thirties looking to move to NC from NJ. My entire family lives there now. I work as a nurse practitioner. I am considering either Charlotte or the Triangle. Right now, I am leaning towards the Triangle because of its healthcare opportunities as well as the fact that I lean towards a liberal standpoint politically. I've also read some threads that Charlotte is a somewhat materialistic sort of town. So not me. I am going to visit there and re-visit the Triangle too. I like being outdoors, good food, am seeking a sense of community, and looking for potential dating prospects in the move. Does have anyone have any thoughts? Just thought I'd throw my own situation out into cyberworld; thanks for any responses.
