Don't all of us in the Raleigh/Durham/Cary/Chapel Hill/Garner/Apex/Fuquay are fall under "The Triangle" or "RDU"?

I would say absolutely! Maybe the subgenre could read:

"The Triangle (Raleigh - Durham - Chapel Hill and outlying areas)"

Not everyone who is looking into the area knows right away what the triangle is, or why it's called that, or they may confuse it with "The Triad" area.
