Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen, West End, Foxfire?

Would like to hear of some good restaurants besides the Chains.
We go to a different new restaurant every week based on suggestions but are looking for more recommendations.

Thanks,
NC newcomer

Beefeaters in SP - best steaks ever! Nice salad bar. Nice ambience. Good service.
Raffael's SP - Great Italian
Vito's in SP - again, great Italian
Holly Inn- very expensive-But Choclate Souffle worth the wait and the price. We usually can skip dinner and just go for desert.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the recommendations we will give all of them a try.
We only go out once a week so it may take a month or more to get to them all.

BTW what do you think of the Italian Table in Seven Lakes?

RE: Italian Table - looked at the menu (kinda expensive) and the interior (very dark) and didn't think we'd like it. If you've been, did you like it?

MY dad and his wife live in Seven Lakes and go to The Italian Table all the time. I've been before, but it's been awhile. I'd say so ahead, it's supposed to be good.

I second the Beefeater--always go there when I visit. You can stuff yourself to death on the salad bar, but then you wouldn't get the steak!

Yes we do like the Italian Table. Not too expensive but we are from NJ where everything is expensive.

Thank you PDD and Francois - will definitely try the Italian Table soon. We're from Westchester in NY so we know "expensive" all too well. But 18 years down here has kinda spoiled us.
