I am doing research state to state for a comparison for me and my fellow classmates.
We will all be graduating soon if, not sooner and we are trying to find a place there in North Carolina to live and build our family.
We should have our student loans payed off before we graduate, and some planning to pay as much of it off before we graduate.
We all are single and you guest it males, but we plan to live in the same state and start our own businesses in our prospective fields.

We all looking at apt's and foreclose homes for now and afterward look for single-family homes two-three years down the road.

The best part would be wherever you can find a job. NC's unemployment is about 12% right now, the highest it's ever been, and fresh graudates with no experience probably have a harder time than most. What field are you in? You'd want to line up a job before moving here.

Otherwise, it would depend on whether you wanted mountains, coast, or in between; rural, urben, suburban, or a mix thereof; liberal, conservative, or in between...NC has it all somewhere. But none of that matters if you don't have an income!
