I have an Interstate claim that is based on combined wages between FL and NC. I'm currently on my first [13 weeks] EUC extension, I have read that NC is no longer on the EB program as of April 16th. Since I'am on EUC vs EB how will this affect me?

Thank You

Default no

this does not affect you, But i would still ask you to contact our representative to vote to change the EB trigger. It will hurt a lot of people at that stage of there unemployment.

Political Chess, part 2: Checkmate? :: WRAL.com

Looks like the EB trigger is on the governor's desk tomorrow for signing or vetoing.

I am not certain it will actually. I hope those of us now on Euc will find jobs before the end of the year but after reading the ESC website it looks as though unless you complete a tier prior to Dec. 31st you won't move into the next tier and thus not into EB after that. I hope it will not be needed but am starting to think it all ends at Dec. 31st one way or the other. Still I hope it passes for those that need the EB now. Same with HR589 and the tier 1 extension. Prolly won't effect us now on UI because of the dec. 31 deadline.
