Over the last couple of years I have been posting new jobs coming to various areas of the state.
At the request by lovesMountains and arbyunc to create a thread & sticky listing all these new job happenings in one thread.

If you have created a thread on city-data with new jobs coming to a city in North Carolina feel free to post it.
Give me estimated new jobs are coming to add to the total. Thanks
This is only April we are at 3663 new jobs so things are looking up for North Carolina.
Im optimistic this thread and employment will continue to grow.

Hickory is the job producer again this week with 360 new jobs.
Bringing thread total to 6437 new jobs.

Wow. That's a ridiculously low and depressing number.

Its almost May.....almost college graduation time. I don't think it would take more than two of the bigger school's graduating classes to fill 6k of jobs.

I just look at job threads created for last year and for four months its right on or above par for the year we still have 8 months to go Ill post last years thread totals & threads throughout the state soon so you can see. Many of these places was only announcing in 2010 but hiring in 2011.

Plus my source for jobs posting doesnt includes the one that do not make print media so if you job creation threads feel free to post them.

Clinton North Carolina is potential 34 new jobs announced this week.
Bringing thread total to 6471. This year it only May and we are already 80% of last year total.
Job announcement slows down during the summer as companies are on vacations etc.
